	IN THE NEWS Hammer Flat / The Cliffs -Naturally Idaho It is not news, exactly, but it is still pretty interesting. Hear the Ada County Commissioner discuss restrictions on access to public information and complain about public records requests being a "Tool of Intimidation.". After nearly a year, perhaps longer, of closed door, no minutes, meetings with Ada County Development Services, the developers have finally gone public with their proposal for the development of Hammer Flat, east of Boise. When complete, the developer will fall under the auspices of Boise City's permitting process. The distinction between the two is that, Boise City actively enforces the Foothills Open Space Management Plan while Ada County seems to prefer to ignore the plan.
